Altarnun

The small picturesque village of Altarnun has a wonderful  Church from the 1500's. The village is situated within a valley with a river flowing through it. It has a lovely atmosphere.

Home to Wesley Cottage; the former home of Digory and Elizabeth Isbell who entertained John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, on some of his visits to Cornwall in the mid 18th century. Now a museum. 

Launceston

The Historic town of Launceston; Launceston has a steam railway and its historic castle along with many other historic buildings such as the Southgate art gallery.
